MCP server

Use Bobb from Grok, Claude or Cursor

Read your data and write drafts from your assistant. Ask how many warm leads came in this week, or have it draft this week's newsletter. It can't send, schedule or spend: every draft waits in Bobb until you send it.

1. Create an API key

In Bobb, open Settings → API keys. Name the key, pick when it expires (30, 90 or 365 days) and copy it. Bobb shows the key once. If you lose it, revoke it and make a new one.

2. Add Bobb to your assistant

Put your key where it says YOUR_KEY. The server address is https://app.trybobb.com/api/mcp.

Claude Code. Run this in a terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http bobb https://app.trybobb.com/api/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY"

Cursor. Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or .cursor/mcp.json in a project), then restart Cursor:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "bobb": {
      "url": "https://app.trybobb.com/api/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_KEY" }
    }
  }
}

Grok. Add this to your Grok config file, then start a new session:

[mcp_servers.bobb]
url = "https://app.trybobb.com/api/mcp"
headers = { Authorization = "Bearer YOUR_KEY" }

3. Ask

Try “How many warm leads came in this week?” or “Draft a reply to my newest lead.” Your assistant picks the tool. A key only reaches its own workspace.

What your assistant can do

  • get_account: Your account details.
  • list_campaigns: Your cold email campaigns.
  • list_hot_leads: Your warm leads, newest first.
  • list_replies: Replies to your emails, a page at a time.
  • get_reply: One reply, in full.
  • list_newsletter_posts: Your newsletter editions and drafts.
  • get_newsletter_stats: Your newsletter numbers.
  • create_newsletter_draft: Writes a newsletter draft. It waits in Bobb until you send it.
  • draft_reply: Writes a reply to a lead as a draft. It waits in your reply inbox until you send it.

Turn it off

Revoke the key in Settings → API keys. Calls with it stop working at once. Questions? Email hello@trybobb.com or book a call.
